U.S. and partners launch air strikes against ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Deir Ezzor, Raqqa, and Idleb

Provinces, SANA – The U.S. and its partners’ forces launched air strikes against ISIS terrorists in Deir Ezzor and Raqqa and against Jabhet al-Nusra terrorists in Idleb.

The U.S. and its partners targeted gatherings and positions for terrorists affiliated to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist organization in al-Bukamal city and al-Souai’eieh village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor on Monday at midnight.

The residents told SANA reporter that large numbers of terrorists were killed in the strikes which targeted their gatherings in the Agricultural High School and granaries in the city, in addition to destroying cars they were using.

In al-Tebni town in the western countryside of the province, the inhabitants reported the death of several ISIS terrorists and the destruction of their vehicles.

The U.S. and its partners also carried out air strikes on Tuesday against ISIS positions Raqqa province. A number of citizens told SANA that the air strikes destroyed the places where terrorists were positioned in including the Municipality building, the Vanguards Camp, an area near the National Hospital, a checkpoint for terrorists at al-Fourosiyeh roundabout, and their dens in al-Tabaqqa and Ma’adan cities in the eastern countryside of Raqqa.

Residents of Kafar Drian town in the countryside of the northern province of Idleb said that the U.S. and its partner forces targeted positions of Jabhet al-Nusra terrorist organization in the town on Tuesday at dawn.

SANA reporter quoted sources in the province as saying that the air strikes caused huge damage to the targeted positions.

Kafr Drian village is 60 kms to the north of Idleb city, and it is close to the Turkish borders, and administratively it is part of Harem area.
