Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to rise to become slightly above average as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general, while the weather will be relatively cold at night, warning against fog over the mountains, and in the central, al-Qalamoun and al-Ghouta regions.
The wind will be westerly with a low to a moderate speed and some active gusts, while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 33/15, Daraa 32/15, Homs 31/14, Tartous 30/20, Aleppo 32/17 and Deir Ezzor 36/19.
