Pushilin: More than half of the Ukrainian militants surrendered at Azovstal plant

Donetsk, SANA- President of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin has revealed that more than half of the Ukrainian militants trapped in the Azovstal plant in Mariupol had surrendered.

In a televised interview today, Pushilin said, “More than half of the militants have left the basements of the plant raising white flags and have laid down their arms.”

Earlier today, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 771 Azov battalion personnel had surrendered at the Azovstal plant during the past 24 hours.
