Terrorists killed across the country, their weaponry destroyed

Provinces, SANA – The army units targeted Tuesday terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in operations across the country, killing and injuring a number of terrorists, some of them are non-Syrian, in addition to destroying their weaponry and machine gun-equipped vehicles.

Army units kill scores of terrorists and injure others after targeting their gatherings in the areas of Talet al-Bado, Tal Abu al-Sanasel, Um Sharshoh and al-Fawshawish, and near al-Jazal oil well in the countryside of Homs.

Units of the armed forces killed large numbers of terrorists and destroyed their equipment in a series of operations carried out in various areas in the countryside if the northern province of Idleb.

A military source told SANA that army units killed many terrorists who attempted to attack military posts in Maaret al-Nuaman and in the surrounding of Wadi al-Daif and al-Hamediyeh camps in the countryside, destroying 3 armored vehicles and a number of cars, some equipped with heavy and medium machine guns, which the terrorists were using.

The source added that another army unit dismantled ten explosive devices and eight command-wire improvised explosive devices in a number of villages and farms north of Abu al-Duhour Airport in the countryside. The explosive devices weighed between 50 and 100 kg. 

Army units killed several terrorists, injured others, and destroyed two pickup cars, one of which was equipped with a heavy machinegun on the Idleb–Harem road and in the area around Haj Hammoud Farm in Jisr al-Shughour city in Idleb, according to a military source.

The source told SANA reporter that other army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Kafr Shalaya, Syriatel towers, Bazzeh Farm, Nahlia, al-Muqbeleh in the countryside of the province, killing and wounding scores of terrorists, among them Ahmad Hamid Ghando, one of their leaders.

Terrorists’ dens were also targeted in the area around Kafrouma town, which resulted in killing many terrorists and injuring others. Terrorists Hassan Harkawi, Abdo Naqour, Fadi Adnan al-Jabbani and Mohammed Mer’ei al-Jebs were identified among the dead.

Another army unit eliminated a large number of terrorists near to Ein Qrei’ in the countryside of Idleb.

Army units carried out a number of operations targeting terrorists in Tal al-Jumou’, al-Yadouda, Nawa and Atman and on the road of al-Yadouda-Daraa in the countryside of the southern province of Daraa, killing many of the terrorists and injuring others.

A military source said that army units thwarted infiltration attempts by two terrorist groups in the countryside of the southern province of Quneitra, with one group trying to infiltrate from al-Khazrajiyeh farms towards Sasa town, while the other tried to enter Koum al-Basha coming from the direction of al-Hejjeh town, leaving a number of terrorists dead and wounded.

Units of the armed forces targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings in several areas of Daraa and Quneitra countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

A military source told SANA that the army units killed and injured a number of terrorists in the towns of Busra al-Sham, Mahajeh, Khurbet al-Boueir, Da’el, Enkhil, al-Lajat and Atman in Daraa countryside.

The source added that other army units stormed a terrorists’ den in al-Souyseh in Quneitra countryside, killing and injuring many of them, in addition to destroying their equipment.

Other army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings near Quneitra Hospital, and in al-Alam Roundabout, Um al-Qattam, al-Samdanyeh al-Gharbyeh, al-Ajraf and Mamtana, killing a number of terrorists and destroying many of their vehicles.

Meanwhile, an army unit destroyed two vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns to the east of Quneitra city.

Army units foiled a number of attempts by terrorists to infiltrate from the streets of al-Zuhour and al-Fusoul al-Arba’a into al-Salam highway in Khan al-Sheeh in Damascus Countryside, killing a number of them and injuring others, a military source told SANA reporter.

The source added that other army units carried out a series of operations against terrorists in the area of Sasa, al-Husseiniyeh farms and al-Najjar Farm, which resulted in the killing of many terrorists and the destruction of their dens along with all weapons and ammunition inside.

Units of the armed forces also killed and injured several terrorists and destroyed their warehouses in Damascus Countryside.

A military source told SANA that the army units killed many terrorists in the area surrounding Taiba Mosque, seizing rocket launch-pads and a number of locally- made mortar shells.

The army units gained control over the area surrounding the Mosque in the center of Joubar neighborhood, including a number of buildings in addition to dismantling a number of explosive devices.

Among the dead terrorists were Salim Rahmeh, Abdulsalam Halemeh, Jihad Khbiyeh and Mohammad al-Haiyeh.

Other army units inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in Zamalka, Ein Tarma, Erbin and Douma area.
In the same context, another army unit destroyed a den for terrorists along with the weapons and ammunition inside it in al-Mahata station in al-Zabadani city, killing many terrorists.

Khalid Shbara, Yusuf al-Maghrbi, Feras al-Dalati and Nasir Mansour were identified among the dead terrorists.

The army units also clashed with terrorists in Asal al-Ward and Ras al-Ma’ara in al-Qalamoun Mountains on the Syrian-Lebanese border, killing many of them.

Meanwhile, army units targeted terrorists’ dens in al-Husseiniyeh farms and Khan al-Sheeh in the southwestern countryside of Damascus, killing and injuring many of them.

The army units killed on Monday numbers of terrorists from the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) terrorist organization and injured others in the neighborhoods of al-Huweika, al-Rushdiyeh, al-Aridi, and al-Jbeileh in the city of Deir Ezzor, a source in the province told SANA reporter.

Most of the tartegeted terrorists are non-Syrian, the source said, noting that a number of vehicles and weapons which the terrorists were using were destroyed during the operations.

Terrorists Abu Asaad al-Jaezrawi from Saudi Arabia, Abu Azzam from Iraq, Abu Jihad from Belgium and Abu Mohsen from Tunis were identified among the dead, the source added.

Another army unit tightened control over the outskirts of al-Tim oil field in the desert of northeastern province after eliminating a large number of ISIS terrorists.

The army unit chased down the terrorists who fled towards al-Mrei’yeh and Albu Amre villages and inflicted heavy losses upon them.

Meanwhile, the army units killed and injured scores of terrorists affiliated to the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Sham “ISIS” in the neighborhoods of al-Haweiqa, al-Rushdiyeh, al-Jbaileh and al-Sina’a in Deir Ezzor.

Among the dead terrorists was Mahmoud Farhan.
