Provinces, SANA – Army units continued Monday military operations against the terrorists’ hideouts and gatherings in several provinces, eliminating huge numbers of terrorists and destroying their weaponry.
In Damascus Countryside, an army unit destroyed a tunnel dug by terrorists extending from north of al-Mualimiyeen tower to the schools area in Jobar.
The tunnel was 400 meters long, 80 centimeters wide, and 170 high, dug around 12 meters below the ground and equipped with electricity, communication equipment, and surveillance cameras and rigged with explosive devices.
Units of the army eliminated terrorists in a series of operations in several towns and villages in Eastern Ghouta, al-Qalamon, al-Zabadani and Khan al-Sheih in Damascus countryside and destroyed large amounts of weapons and ammunitions.
SANA reporter said that terrorist dens were destroyed to the north of al-Moalemin Tower and the Schools Complex in Jobar neighborhood, while army units eliminated members of an armed terrorist group in Harasta.
A military source told SANA that army units killed and injured a number of terrorists in al-Shiekh Lutfi, al-Meslmiyeh, Tal Qarah, Kafer Anton, Dahret al-Shurfeh and Anadan in Aleppo and its countryside, destroying their tools.
The source added that army units destroyed a warehouse for bombing cars in Ein al-Tal and a number of cars, some equipped with heavy machineguns in Deir Hafer, Khan al-Assal, Enjarah and Bianon in Aleppo and its countryside, killing all terrorists inside them and injuring others.
Army units killed and injured a number of terrorists in Muger al-Mire, al-Khazrajeiyeh village, surrounding al-Husainiyeh village in Damascus countryside.
An army unit foiled an armed terrorist group’s attempt to infiltrate from Khan al-Sheih towards the Agricultural school on the old road of Quneitra in Damascus countryside, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.
Army units thwarted two armed terrorist groups’ attempts to infiltrate from the north of Qaser al-Bitar Farm towards Etman town and from Da’el towards a military checkpoint in Ebtaa in Daraa countryside, killing and injuring a number of their members.
In Homs, units of the armed forces killed and injured a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles which are equipped with heavy machineguns.
The army units targeted the terrorist groups in al-Za’afarana, to the east of the irrigation channel and the industrial school in al-Rastan, in the surrounding of Syriatel Station and to the east of Zamlet al-Muhr towards al-Sha’air Mountain in Palmyra Countryside as a number of the terrorists were eliminated.
A number of terrorists were also killed and wounded and two of their cars were destroyed in the surrounding of Um Sharshouh School, Tal Abu al-Sanasel and in al-Awaid and al-Awais Farms towards Jabbourin-Um Sharshoh.
A number of the terrorists were also killed and injured in the surrounding of Talbiseh Cultural Center, in al-Asalyia, al-Rastan, al-Jazil oil well and Zamlet al-Muhr in Palmyra and in Khirbat Arnousha and Um al-Rish in Homs Countryside.
A military source said army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in al-Wa’ar neighborhood and Um al-Rish village in Homs eastern countryside, inflicting direct losses among them.
A military source said an army unit has targeted a gathering for terrorists in Abu Jamra area to the west of Ez Eddin village in Homs countryside.
Several terrorists were killed and others wounded, according to the source, with their weapons destroyed.
Army units killed numbers of terrorists and wounded others, some of them non-Syrians, near Meshemshan village in Jisr al-shughour, Idleb countryside.
A military source told SANA that army units targeted dens for terrorists in Ariha area, near Nehleh village, Kourin, al-Mneizel and Kafrouma in Idleb countryside, with several terrorists getting killed.
A pick-up track laded with a heavy machinegun was also destroyed and three armed vehicles were damaged.

A military source told SANA that army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings and dens in al-Tibbeh, al-Ba’yat, near of Atman town, on Tafas-Atman road and al-Kaddahin quarter in al-Hrak town.
Terrorists’ gatherings were also targeted in Enkhel, to the south of Kherbet Ghazaleh bridge, Nawa, Da’el, al-Dali, Jassem-Nawa road, Sheikh Saad, Tal al-Thurayya and Tal al-Jabiyeh al-Saghir.
Numbers of terrorists were killed in the operations.
