Provinces, SANA – Army units tightened grip on terrorist groups on Tuesday, targeting their gatherings and dens in several areas around the country.

A source at the Police Command told SANA that 3 terrorists in a car were coming from al-Tall city to Harasta Suburb attempted to detonate themselves while crossing a military checkpoint, but the army’s personnel killed two of them and injured the third one.
Engineering units dismantle two explosive devices in Hama countryside
Meanwhile, the engineering units dismantled two explosive devices planted by terrorists near Qarmas town in Hama province.
A source at the police command told SANA that each explosive device weighing 100 Kg, one of the them planted inside a poultry, while the other one planted 5 meters far from the first.
Army units foiled two terrorists’ attempts of infiltration from Khan al-Sheeh towards al-Khammara and the medicine factory to the left of al-Salam highway in Damascus Countryside, killing many terrorists and injuring others.
Army units destroyed a number of terrorists’ vehicles between Rasem al-Shawali, al-Ajraf and al-Samdaniyeh in Quneitra countryside, killing many and injuring others in Om al-Batina village.
In Daraa, army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Attman, Barqa, al-Malzouma, Tal Motoueq, Inkhel and Nawa, killing or injuring many, a military source at the province said.
The source added that another army unit thwarted a terrorist group’s infiltration attempt towards a military post, killing many of them.
In Idleb, army units inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in the surrounding area of Qaminas town and dismantled 5 mines and 8 explosives in a farm in the town.
An army unit targeted armed terrorists groups’ hideout in the area surrounding Mantef village in Idleb countryside, killing and injuring a number of terrorists, among then non-Syrians, including 17 leaders of the so-called the “Islamic Front” and destroyed a number of Pick-ups equipped with heavy machineguns.
A military source told SANA that the army foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate Joureen village in Idelb countryside, killing and injuring most of them.
The army targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of Maarat al-Nouman, Kureen, al-Mustareiha, Tal al-Louz and Humaymat al-Dayer, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their weaponry.
Army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings near Aqrab village in al-Hula countryside, al-Shajara farm in Palmyra, Deir Foul and al-Za’laneh mountain, Talbiseh, to the north of al-Qaryateen and Palmyra in Homs countryside, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.
The army units also destroyed terrorists’ cars with all the terrorists inside them in al-Ghanto in the countryside.
A military source told SANA that army units killed and wounded a number of terrorists in Qadi Asker, surrounding the Eyes Hospital, Bab al-Hadid, al-Hulk, Bani Zaid, Daret Izza, Salah Eddin, al-Braij, Babis, Kerbet Ma’ratah and al-Shurfeh al-Safraa in Aleppo and its countryside and destroyed a number of their vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns.
The source added that a unit of the army and the armed forces destroyed 7 cars with all the terrorists inside them in Tal Jibbin, al-Hader and Deir al-Jamal.
The army unit also targeted terrorists’ gatherings in al-Rashideen area, eliminating a number of terrorists.
A military source told SANA that an army unit eliminated all members of an armed terrorist group in Morek town in Hama countryside and destroyed two cars equipped with heavy machineguns.
The source added that another army unit foiled an armed terrorist group’s attempt to infiltrate into Abdul-Aziz village in Hama countryside.
