Provinces, SANA – Army units tightened grip on terrorist groups on Wednesday, targeting their gatherings and dens in several areas around the country.
A number of terrorists were killed and injured and their vehicles were destroyed after targeting their gatherings and dens in Qadi Asqar, Handarat Camp, Tadif, al-Marja, Jub al-Safa, al-Maslamieha, al-Qatirji, al-na’nai Square, al-Sheikh Lutif and Africano in Aleppo and its countryside.
About 15 terrorists’ cars some of which loaded with munitions were destroyed between al-Marja and al-Salihin roundabouts, and other 8 cars and two 23-m cannons were also demolished in Karm al-Turab and in the surrounding of al-Nayrab and al-Jidayda.
23 terrorists of different nationalities were killed in the surrounding of Aleppo Airport.
The army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of Jasem, Inkhel, al-Thuraya, Barqa, Atman, and Qasr al-Bitar in Daraa countryside, killing and injuring scores of terrorists.
A military source told SANA that the army foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate Tal al-Zaatar area, killing the majority of them and destroying 4 vehicles, two of them equipped with heavy machineguns.
The army also eliminated all members of an armed terrorist group in tal al-Khudr and killed 29 terrorists near Da’el roundabout in Daraa countryside.
Army units killed many terrorists and injured others in the villages of Om Sharshouh, Mahsa, Aqrab, Tal Dahab, Tal Bisa and al-Rastan in Homs countryside.
In Idleb, army units killed big numbers of terrorists and injured others in Tal al-Louz, to the west of Abu al-Zohour Airport and in Qaminas village, in addition to destroying a car equipped with a heavy machinegun.
The source added that army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Kourin, al-Khafia, Tal al-Dabban, al-Mestriha, Tal Fakhar, Shaqlah.
A military source told SANA that the army destroyed warehouse for weapons and ammunition in al-Khafya village and terrorists’ hideout along with vehicles equipped with 23-mm and 14,5 mm machineguns near the area of Abu al-Dohour.
A number of terrorists were killed in the process, among them were Faysal Abdo al-Mohammad, Mathqal Abdo al-Mohammad, Mohammad al-Barakat, Hamza al-Kayari and 6 terrorists from Shab Eddin family.
Army units eliminated a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles after targeting their dens and gatherings in several villages in the countryside of Damascus and Quneitra.
A number of terrorists were killed and wounded while two vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns were demolished in the farms of Khan al-Shih in Damascus countryside.
Terrorists’ infiltration attempt from the town of Beit Tima towards khan al-Shih was foiled where a number of terrorists were killed and wounded.
Gatherings of terrorists were also attacked by the army units in front of Indomie Factory, in al-Nabulsi farm, the Chinese villa and sharia school in al-Oja area and near the agricultural school in Khan al-Shih where a number of terrorists were killed and injured.
The army units targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Khan al-Sheeh farms to the east of al-Salam highway in Damascus Countryside, killing and injuring scores of terrorists, in addition to destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Meanwhile, the Army killed and injured a number of terrorists, some of them of the Lebanese nationality, and from other terrorist organizations of the so-called Islamic Front and Liwa al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta, Qalamoun and al-Zabadani
In Quneitra countryside, an armed terrorist group was attacked by units of the armed forces to the north of Tal Ahmar, in addition to targeting a number of terrorists’ cars in abu Shita area in Quneitra countryside where a number of terrorists were killed and injured and a number of their cars were demolished.
The army units targeted terrorists’ dens in Atman and Om Walad towns in Daraa countryside, eliminating scores of them and injuring others and destroying their equipment.
