Provinces, SANA – The army continued its successful operations against armed terrorist groups on Saturday, destroying a tunnel in Aleppo, killing and injuring a number of them in many areas across the country.
Units of the armed forces targeted gatherings of terrorists and car convoys in Enkhel and Jassem towns and on Enkhel-Jassem road in the countryside of Daraa, leaving numbers of the terrorists dead and destroying many of their cars.
Other units destroyed a terrorists’ pick up and killed and injured numbers of terrorists on Atman-alYadoudeh road and to the east of Tall al-Mahs. Terrorists trying to infiltrate Aqraba towards the village of Um al-Awsaj were repelled.
In Daraa al-Balad, an army unit killed and injured a number of terrorists to the east of Syriatel building.
Also in Daraa al-Balad, the army units destroyed 4 armored vehicles during targeting terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in the area, one of the vehicles was driven by a suicidal terrorist.
A military source told SANA that the army destroyed terrorists’ gatherings and vehicle convoys in al-Saghira area in Daraa countryside, killing and scores of terrorists and destroying their vehicles and weapons.
In Quneitra province, several gatherings of terrorists were targeted in the areas of Rasm al-Shouleh, Sad al-Qantara and al-Qahtaniyeh.
Terrorists’ car convoys were also targeted in the towns of Breiqeh and Bi’r Ajam in the countryside. Many of the cars got destroyed and the terrorists driving them were killed or injured.
In another context, the locals in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor repelled terrorists from the ‘Islamic State of Iraq and Syria’ who tried to attack the villages of Abo Hamam, al-Jerzi and Abo Hardoub.
A source in the province told SANA reporter that the locals managed to reach al-Nusour intersection between Abo Hardoub and al-Jerzi and seized control of it after expelling the terrorists from the area.
Army units targeted several gatherings of terrorists in Kfarroumeh, Binnesh, Sermin, Arab Saeed, Barrouma, Qmeinas, Taftanaz, Deir Sunbul, Bazzeh, al-Rami and the surrounding of al-Arbaeen Mountain in the countryside of Idleb. Many terrorists were left dead and wounded.
35 terrorists got killed and others were injured in an army operation that targeted gatherings and dens of terrorist groups in the towns of Sermin and Kourin.
A military source told SANA that army units killed and injured a number of terrorists in Hanano, al-Marjeh, Bab al-Naser, Arshaf, al-Mansourah, the Free Zone, al-Bab, Deir Hafer and al-Na’nani Square in Aleppo countryside.
The source added that army units also destroyed a 100 meters tunnel in Salah Eddin area, in Aleppo, killing all the terrorists inside it.
Terrorists were eliminated and a car equipped with heavy machinegun was also destroyed in the area surrounding al-Nairab and al-Maisar.
A military source told SANA that the Army destroyed dens of terrorists and killed many of them in Khan al-Sheih farms in Damascus countryside.
SANA reporter said the army targeted terrorists and their gatherings and hideouts in the areas of Douma, Alya Farms and Adra al-Balab, killing scores of terrorists, among them were Nidal Dahhak, Omran Taha, Omar al-Hattawi, Bashar al-Sabbagh, Adel Hamza and Ahmad all-Durra.
The army units carried out several operations against terrorists in many areas in al-Nashabyeh, al-Mleiha and Wadi Tirma, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their hideouts and weaponry. Terrorists Isam Salhani and Mohammad Bilal were identified among the dead.
Meanwhile, the operations of the army against terrorists in al-Qalamoun and al-Zabadani continued, with heavy losses inflicted upon the terrorists and their weaponry and equipment.
A military source said that the army units thwarted two attempts by terrorists to infiltrate towards the villages of Kafr Nan and Ein al-Dananeer in Homs countryside.
The army units killed and wounded a number of terrorists and destroyed their criminal tools in the villages of Um al-Rish and al-Shindakhieh in Homs countryside and in al-Qnaitrat and near the al-Hussein Mosque in al-Rastan.
An official source at the province told SANA reporter that terrorists fired three missiles from al-Ghajar village towards Kafr Nan.
A military source told SANA that army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in the villages of al-Derah and al-Rouda in al-Rabiaa, in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
The army units eliminated a number of terrorists, among them some leaders of the terrorist groups and non-Syrian terrorists, and destroyed a car loaded with weapons and ammunition.
An army unit thwarted terrorists’ attempt to attack a military checkpoint in Mhardeh city in the northern countryside of Hama, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists and destroying an armored vehicle and a car equipped with heavy machine gun.
