1058 food and 600 medical packages distributed to Palestinian al-Yarmouk camp in Damascus

Damascus, SANA – Sponsored by the Syrian Government, the General Administration  for Palestine Arab Refugees (GAPAR),  the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) on Thursday and Friday distributed 1058 food and 600 medical packages to the  people besieged by the terrorist groups at al-Rama street in al-Yarmouk Camp.

The GAPAR Director General Ali Mustafa told SANA  that a patient was hospitalized to Damascus hospitals, asserting that the number of the patients who were evacuated from the Camp since last January reached 4461.

He added that the medical center affiliated to the UNRWA treated some patients and offered medicine to them.

The number of the food packages distributed since last January reached 41771, while 4956 health packages were distributed to the residents of the camp, according to Mustafa, adding that the process will continue on Saturday.
