Tartous, SANA- 20 transformers, with a capacity of 30 Ma, have arrived to Tartous port on Sunday, according to SANA reporter.
The amount constitutes the first batch of 66 20 kV transformers with a capacity of 30 megavolts amperes out of 37 total quantities.
Director of General Electricity Company,Eng. Waseem Mohamed, , said in a statement to SANA that this batch is the first out of 37 transformers.
He added that it scheduled to be supplied to ease the shortage in the electrical network, pointing out that the ministry is exerting great efforts in light of the unjust economic blockade imposed on Syria
