Tehran, SANA- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baqaei announced Tuesday that Iran delivered a clear and explicit message regarding its decisive support for Syria against terrorism during the visit of Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to Damascus and Ankara.
Baqaei’s made his remarks on the sidelines of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Mashhad city , Iran.
The Iranian official said that important talks were held during Araghchi’s tour that stressed the necessity for all countries in the region, especially Syria’s neighboring countries to reach a result that terrorism is a contagious disease that does not stop at a certain point.
He warned that unless countries cooperate and participate to confront terrorism, they will all certainly be affected in this regard.
