Army rescues 85 citizens fleeing Daesh in al-Boukamal

Deir Ezzor, SANA – Some 85 civilians, most of them are children and women, have arrived safely in Deir Ezzor city, helped by a Syrian Army unit.

Those came from al-Boukmal city, located 140 km southeast of Deir Ezzor, which was liberated from Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization six days ago.

Rescued people called on their fellow citizens who are still in areas where Daesh terrorists are positioned to head to the nearest point of the Syrian Arab Army to be rescued.

Head of the Social Affairs and Labor Directorate in Deir Ezzor Ahmad al-Ali said that the Governorate is working to provide all living requirements to the citizens who flee Daesh at the makeshift centers until they are able to return to their houses and villages after the Syrian Arab Army completes clearing them of terrorism.
