3 bronze medals for Syria in 2020 Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad

Damascus, SANA-Syrian sciences Olympiad students won three bronze medals in 2020 the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad (APIO) which was held in Indonesia online on the 15th of August with participation of 240 students from 33 countries.

 The Distinction and Creativity Agency said in a statement of which SANA received a copy that the students Ahmad Mohamad Monzer Haider  , Bishr Saad al-Din Islampoli and Mohammed Nour Mohammed Khaldoun  al-Masri who are in the Secondary School won the medals.

 27 students from the Syrian Science Olympiad participated in  the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad from Damascus , Aleppo, Homs and Lattakia, in which  the competitions have lasted for five consecutive hours, at the same time in the participating countries on line by direct electronic link between the students and the Asian Scientific Committee for the Olympiad in Indonesia , including a set of issues in the English language , which requires a high ability to analyze and logical thinking in the field of programming and algorithms.
