Worldwide coronavirus infections pass 91 million and 268 thousand

Capitals, SANA- The total number of the coronavirus (Covid-19) infections worldwide has reached up to 91 million and 268 thousand since its outbreak in December 2019 while the number of fatalities has neared two million, according to the American Worldometers website.

The website added that the total number of the global coronavirus infections has climbed to 91,268,549 while the number of fatalities has reached up to 19,517,83 and the recoveries amounted to 65,207,990.

The US still tops the worst-affected countries by the novel coronavirus in terms of the number of infections and deaths after recording 385,004 deaths out of 23,113,429 infections, while India comes in the second place after registering 151,364 deaths out of 10,479,879 infections.

Meanwhile Brazil comes third after recording 203,617 fatalities out of 8,133,833 infections.
