Homs, SANA- The mechanism of joint cooperation between al-Baath University and Moscow State University of Civil Engineering was discussed on Monday, at al-Baath University in Homs.
Dr. Abdul Basit al-Khatib, Rector of al-Baath University, stressed the need to activate the agreements signed between the Syrian and Russian sides, which would contribute to the development of the educational process and scientific research in line with new conditions and technologies, especially in the reconstruction phase in Syria.
He underlined the importance of cooperation, conducting joint scientific research, publishing scientific research and dispatching teaching assistants and postgraduate students to the Russian universities.
In turn, Prof. Ivan Khalil, representative of Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, affirmed that the university seeks to develop cooperation with a-Baath University and it takes all necessary steps to strengthen it through the exchange of faculty members, researchers and students, in addition to holding conferences, scientific visits, and online courses for scientific materials and research information.
