Beirut, SANA- Former Lebanese MP, Emile Lahoud, said that Syria, has protected the region from the danger of terrorism thanks to its steadfastness and the sacrifices of its people and the army.
Lahoud said in a statement to SANA reporter in Beirut that the pressures and unilateral economic measures that Syria is currently subjected to is an attempt to undermine its steadfastness, in order to subordinate its stance.
Lahoud stressed that Syria’s steadfastness has thwarted all the plans that targeted it, explaining that the next stage is the stage of recognizing Syria’s ability and obtaining its full rights.
Lahoud pointed out that all the conspiracies which the Zionist enemy participated in preparing them have failed.
