Terrorists’ shells hit church, mosque and Damascus Fairground, 5 civilians wounded

Provinces, SANA- A number of rocket shells fired by terrorists on Thursday hit a church and near a mosque in Harasta Suburb in Damascus Countryside on Thursday.

Two civilians were reported injured by a rocket shell that landed near al-Mahdi Mosque at the northern entrance of the residential suburb, according to a Police Command source.

Three more civilians were wounded by a terrorist attack with rocket shells on the old Damascus International Fairground.

A source at the Police Command told SANA that three shells fired by terrorists fell on the old Damascus international fairground and Beirut Street.

Medical sources said three civilians wounded by shells’ splinters were admitted to al-Muwasat and al-Tawfik hospitals to receive treatment.

Idleb

In another context, an explosive device attached by terrorists to a car parked in Bustan Ghanoum neighborhood in central Idleb city, northern Syria, went off.

SANA reporter said the terrorist explosion took place near al-Wahda al-Arabiya School in the neighborhood, causing material damage to the car as well as to a number of houses and shops.

The reporter confirmed that no one was hurt due to the blast.

Three days ago, terrorists exploded a car bomb in front of Yahya Dahnin School in al-Dbeit neighborhood in western Idleb city, causing material damage only.
