Citizens of Golan stress their struggle to thwart wind turbines scheme

The occupied Syrian Golan, SANA- Citizens of the occupied Syrian Golan renewed their rejection of setting up wind turbines by the Israeli occupation on their lands by force, which constitutes a flagrant violation of international legitimacy resolutions.

During a protest stand staged Saturday in Marj Al-Yafouri area between the occupied villages of Masada and Majdal Shams, the citizens of the Golan stressed their struggle against the occupation by using all legitimate means to thwart its settlement scheme by setting up the wind turbines on thousands of dunums of their lands.

They affirmed their adherence to their belonging to the homeland Syria and their continued defense of the Golan, no matter what the sacrifices are.

The freed captive, Bishr Suleiman Al-Maqt, said, in a statement to SANA, that the Golan’s citizens had dropped all Israeli plots and schemes on their land since the beginning of the occupation, and that the “turbine” scheme would be doomed to failure at the hands of the people of the Golan, who will not give up an atom of soil from the land.
