The Russian community in Aleppo celebrates the National Day of Russia

Aleppo, SANA-The Russian community in Aleppo celebrated on Sunday the National Day of the Russian Federation.

The Russian Consul, Ruslan Markov, stressed at the opening of the celebration “the importance of the historic relations between Russia and Syria and the necessity to boost them through the continuation of trade, economic and military cooperation and the execution of the reconstruction and infrastructure projects”.

“Syria constitutes a long lasting strategic ally and supporter of Russia” Markov said.

Markov thanked “Syria for the humanitarian services and facilities provided to the Russian community in Aleppo”.
