Christmas tree lit up at St. George’s Church in Quneitra

Quneitra ,SANA-In celebration of Christmas and New Year , the Quneitra province lit the Christmas tree at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church in al-Baath City.

Archbishop Mounir Bishara of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Damascus stated that the massive public participation in lighting the Christmas tree of Christ, the messenger of love and peace, is evidence of amity and harmony among the Syrians, praying to God to preserve Syria, its people and army.

For his part, the governor of Quneitra, Moataz Abu Al-Nasr Jamran, said that the lighting of the tree in this place is a message of peace and amity to the world and the determination to live despite the circumstances the country is going through.
