Russian forces advance on the Maryinka axis in Donetsk

Moscow, SANA- Units of the Russian forces have made important progress on the Maryinka axis in Donetsk, which poses a threat to the Ukrainian defenses on the southwestern outskirts of the town.

According to the Novosti agency, during the past day, the Russian forces were able, as a result of the successful attacks, to advance a kilometer on the Maryinka axis, which represents a very important step on the way to liberating the town.

A footage showed the surrender of three Ukrainian soldiers after a mercenary from Georgia was fatally wounded, following an attack by Russian units on one of the Ukrainian fortified points in the region.
