Syria wins the gold at 30th SKDUN World Karate Championships , Greece

Athens, SANA-The Syrian Shotokan martial arts player, Anas Jarbou’a, gained the gold medal in individual fighting at the 30th SKDUN World Karate Championships Chalkida, being held currently in Greece.

“The Syrian athlete Jarbou’a, by obtaining this medal, managed to maintain his title for the second year in a row”, Vice President of the Martial Arts Federation, Ziad Ibrahim, said in a statement to SANA.

Ibrahim added that ranking the first in this championship is an important achievement for Syrian sports in general and for traditional karate in particular.
