People’s Assembly condemns Israeli aggression on al-Mamdani Hospital, Gaza Strip

Damascus, SANA- People’s Assembly has condemned the Israeli aggression on al-Mamdani Hospital in the besieged Gaza Strip, which claimed the lives of more than 500 persons, in addition to hundreds of the wounded and injured, most of them were women and children.

“The international community must classify this massacre as a war crime against humanity, unprecedented in brutality, and perpetrators must be brought before the International Court of Justice,” the People’s Assembly said in a statement.

The statement noted that the hospital massacre is added to hundreds of massacres which the occupation has been committed against the Palestinians for more than 7 decades in flagrant violation of the UN charter, human rights, and the international humanitarian law.”

The statement added “we call on all regional and international unions and parliamentary organizations and all humanitarian organizations concerned with this matter to denounce this act and put pressure on the Western powers to stop the barbaric shelling and systematic destruction against the Palestinians.

The People Assembly reiterated full solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people until defeating the Zionist occupiers and the return of refugees to their land.
