Tartous, SANA- Storm and severe winds have damaged greenhouses and fruit trees in the coastal city of Tartous at Dawn on Sunday.
Air currents and a sea storm accompanied by a severe cold wave struck the villages of Sheikh Badr, Bazrael, and Wadi Al-Maloua ,causing massive damage to olive, and almond trees, head of Drought and Natural Disaster Fund at Tartous Agriculture Directorate, Dr. Haider Shaheen said.
Another sea storm caused damage to the greenhouses in al-Sesliya village , Safita area, Shaheen added.
