Damascus, SANA- Mrs. Asma al-Assad said that as my infection in the Acute Myeloid Leukemia was announced, I have received a lot of your messages, filled with amity and support.
Mrs. Asma al-Assad said in a video tape that Those messages of amity have given us, as a family, more strength during this circumstance and anyone who carries on a battle against illness must possess strength and will, not only to defeat it, but to endure distancing from people whom he/ she loves and is committed to serve them.
I will go through this battle armed with faith and utmost confidence in God, your prayers and your amity.
