Jordan hosts international conference on humanitarian response in Gaza

Amman, SANA- Jordan will host an international conference for the emergency humanitarian response to the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to a continuous, barbaric Israeli aggression since October 7, leaving tens of thousands of martyrs and wounded.

AFP reported that the conference is being held jointly by the UN, Jordan and Egypt.

The conference aims to identify ways to enhance the international community’s response to the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip, according to a statement by the Royal Hashemite Court.

The conference programme, distributed by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that discussions will focus on ways to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza that commensurate with needs, ways to overcome the challenges facing the delivery of humanitarian aid, the protection of civilians, and early recovery priorities.
