Damascus SANA- President Bashar al-Assad issued on Tuesday Law No. 22 for 2024, , which stipulates establishing the General Company for Food Industries to replace both the General Organization for Food Industries established in 1975 and the General Organization for Sugar and their affiliated companies.
The law aims to raise the efficiency of investment of available resources to create new growth opportunities and open the way for expansion in manufactured food products according to agricultural production priorities, thus enhancing the company’s capabilities to intervene positively in the local market and the possibility of increasing the export share of its products and full coordination between the factories.
