Hasaka Governor: We have enough military power to defend and protect the city from terrorists

Damascus, SANA- Hasaka governor Mohammad Za’al al-Ali said on Thursday that life runs as normal in the city and locals of Hasaka are determined to confront the terrorist, barbaric attack by armed terrorist groups.

“The military, security and field situation in Hasaka is improving every moment and we have enough military power to defend and protect the city, its families and we will not abandon it because Hasaka is Syria’s treasure and resources,” the governor said in an interview with Syrian TV.

He called on all citizens in the city to stand by the Syrian army to protect this city from those terrorists who came from beyond borders.

Al-Ali added that the city has come under fierce armed attack since Wednesday, saying it is not the first time Hasaka encounters such attacks.
