Plane carrying 22 tons of aid from WFP arrives at Qamishli airport

Hasaka, SANA – The first plane of the third air bridge arrived on Wednesday at Qamishli airport, carrying 22 tons of non-food relief supplies provided by the World Food Program (WFP).

Director of the displaced project at the UNHCR in the province Khaled al-Khaled said the shipment consists of kitchen utensils, cleaning materials, blankets, summer clothes, floor mats, insulators, and water containers, adding that the third air bridge will send 10 other planes to Hasaka carrying 240 tons of non-food relief to be distributed among displaced families.
