Five Civilians killed, others injured by terrorists’ mortars in several provinces

Provinces, SANA – A female civilian was killed and three others were injured by terrorists’ mortar shells launched on Hasaka on Tuesday.

A source at the province’s Police Command told SANA that terrorists fired a number of mortar shell on the city center, adding that the shells also caused material damage to the properties in the area.

In Hama, two citizens were injured by mortar shells launched by terrorists on the villages of Ba’reen and al-Ta’ouna in Hama western countryside.

A source at the province’s Police Command said the terrorists fired 7 mortars from Aqrab village on Ba’reen, causing the injury of two civilians and material damage to properties in the village.

The terrorists targeted al-Ta’souna village with 5 mortars, no human casualties were reported according to the source.

In Damascus, a source at the province Police Command told SANA that a citizen was killed and three others were injured by terrorists’ mortar shells launched on the areas of al-Dweila, al-Sheikh Raslan and al-Hamidyeh.

In the same context, a source at the Police Command told SANA that terrorists fired a mortar shell on al-Amara neighborhood, claiming the lives of two citizens and injuring 18 others, causing material damage to a number of houses, cars and shops.

Another shell fell on a car parking behind al-Hijaz Station, injuring 3 citizens.

The source pointed out that a number of shells also fell on al-Jamarik roundabout, Social Insurance foundation’s building in al-Baramikeh, al-Nijmeh and al-Rawda Squares and Mazzeh 86 neighborhoods, causing huge material damage to the sites without human casualties.

Meanwhile, another shell landed on al-Abbassiyeen area, claiming a life of a 11-yaers child, in addition to causing large material damage to a number of cars.
