Syria participates in Baky Islamic Solidarity Games with 28 athletes

Baku, SANA – Syria is taking part in the 4th tournament of the Islamic Solidarity Games held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

The Syrian mission to the Games consists of 44 members, including 28 athletes who will compete in 10 games (swimming, boxing, athletics, gymnastics, wrestling, weightlifting, karate, judo, basketball and special games).

Syria is one of 56 countries taking part in the Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games, which will run through May 22.
