Russian Defense Ministry: Situation in de-escalation zones is stable

Moscow, SANA – Russian Defense Ministry affirmed that the situation in the de-escalation zones is stable despite a number of violations of the cessation of hostilities regime have been registered in the countryside of Damascus and Lattakia during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry said in a statement that 6 violations have been registered by the observation groups of the cessation of hostilities regime, 5 of which were in Damascus Countryside and one in the countryside of Lattakia.

The Ministry added that the violations were random shooting of firearms in areas controlled by terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS.
