Lattakia Governor and Belarusian Ambassador distribute gifts to 100 children

Lattakia, SANA – Lattakia Governor Ibrahim Khuder al-Salem and Belarusian Ambassador Alexander Ponomarev presented gifts to 103 children who were affected by terrorism in Eshtabraq village and the northern al-Haffeh countryside.

The ambassador expressed his solidarity with the Syrian public and his support in their battle against terrorism during his meeting with the children, which took place in Officers Club and St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church in Lattakia, asserting the willingness of his country to give the needed aid for the children.

The Governor and the Belarusian Ambassador also visited the National Center for Distinguished Students at Tishreen University, with Ponomarev proposing sending some of the center’s students to Belarus to continue their studies there.
