Germany freezes any decision on tanks upgrade for Turkish regime

Berlin, SANA-German government has decided to put on hold any decision on upgrading German-made Leopard tanks for Turkish regime regarding its aggression on Afrin area in northern Syria.

Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel said that Germany was very concerned about the Turkish military attack in northern Syria, adding that the government agreed that arms should not be exported to conflict zones.

This issue will be discussed again when the new government is formed, he added.

Erdogan’s regime continues its aggression on Afrin area, north of Aleppo, causing civilian casualties and extensive damage and destruction in public and private properties in addition to the displacement of thousands of civilians from their villages and homes.
