Lattakia, SANA – Grand Mufti of the Republic Dr. Ahmad Badr-Eddin Hassoun on Monday said that the history will record those who scarified their souls for sake of Homeland, calling on all citizens to cooperate and foil the conspiracy to which the country is exposed.
Meeting a number of martyrs’ families at al-Ghader Mosque in Bishriyeh village in al-Qairdaha area of Lattakia countryside, Hassoun pointed out that Syria’s people, army and leadership are the ones who fortified the country against the terrorist global war imposed on Syria.
The Mufti affirmed that Syria will come out of the crisis victorious, reveling that upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, the government will establish foundations in which families of the martyrs will have shares that ensure a good life for them.
In a similar meeting at al-Samiyah village in al-Hiffa area, the Mufti affirmed that Syria gathered all the religions around the world in this region, adding that the Syrian people are the owners of one religion.
