Legal status of tens of gunmen settled in Quneitra countryside

Quneitra, SANA- Tens of gunmen had their legal status settled after they handed over their weapons to the authorities in Damascus countryside and Quneitra villages in the framework of the ongoing local reconciliations.

Head of the local reconciliation committee in Quneitra told SANA that the reconciliation processes are continuous in the villages of the Quneitra Countryside and the adjacent villages of Damascus countryside province until the legal status of all the gunmen who handed over their weapons are settled in order to enable them to return to their normal life.

SANA’s reporter said that the authorities in Quneitra are settling the legal status of those who dodged compulsory or reserve military services after they turn themselves in, according to the legislative decree no.18 for 2018 which granted a general amnesty to military deserters inside and outside the country and the crimes included in the Military Penal Code.
