Damascus, SANA-Al-Jaish football team beat al-Talia’a counterpart 2-1 in the first leg of the quarterfinals of the Republic Cup in a match held on Wednesday at al-Jala’a stadium in Damascus.

The two teams will meet in Hama next Sunday in the second leg of the quarterfinals.
