Syrian athletics team ranks second in West Asia Juniors Championship

Beirut, SANA-  The Syrian athletics team has continued to harvest more medals at West Asia Juniors Championship currently held in Lebanon as it concluded its participation in the championship by coming in the second place in the general ranking of the participating teams with a score of 15 various medals.

Throughout the championship the Syrian team won seven gold medals, two silver medals and 6 bronzes.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese team came in the first places in the general ranking with a score of 11 gold medals, 9 silvers and 10 bronzes.

The Saudi team ranked third with a score of 6 gold medals, two silvers and a bronze medal.
