Lavrentiev: Participants in Astana 14th will discuss illegal US presence in Syria

Nur Sultan, SANA_ Russian President’s Special Envoy for Syria Alexander Lavrentiev announced that the participants in the 14th  round of Astana talks are discussing all issues related to Syria, including the illegal US presence on its soil.

“I think we are ready to discuss the situation in all parts of Syria and of course the issue of the illegal US presence that aims at exploiting Syria’s natural resources,” Lavrentiev told reporters in the Kazakh capital Nur Sultan on Tuesday.

The Russian Diplomat stressed the need for the Turkish regime to shoulder its responsibilities in the de-escalation zone in Idleb governorate, depicting the provocations carried out by the terrorist groups deployed there as “totally unacceptable.”

Terrorist groups, most of which affiliated to “Jabhat al-Nusra” terrorist organization, are spreading in Idleb and its countryside and repeatedly attacking the safe villages and military points in northern Hama where a civilian was martyred  and a child was injured on Monday due to the rocket shell attacks by these groups on Al-Aziziya  village and Al-Suqaylbiyah city in Hama countryside.
