Damascus, SANA-Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 55 new coronavirus cases were registered in the country, while 15 infections have recovered from the disease.
The Ministry told SANA in a statement that the total number of infections in Syria reached at 999 until today, 311 out of them have recovered and 48 cases have passed away.
The first case of the disease was detected in Syria on March 22nd.
