Tehran, SANA- Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Shura Council, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, stressed his country’s continued support for the Syrian government and people.
IRNA news agency said that Ghalibaf sent on Wednesday, a message to the Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hammouda Sabbagh congratulating him for his election as Speaker of the People’s Assembly.
Ghalibaf stressed, in his message, the significant role of the Syrian and Iranian parliaments in developing and enhancing the economic relations between the two countries.
“In the future, as in the past, with the cooperation of the Iranian and Syrian representatives, strategic relations between the two countries in various bilateral, regional and international arenas will continue more than before,” Ghalibaf went on to say.
