Provinces, SANA – Army operations against the terrorist organizations, including ISIS, continued on Wednesday at a stepped-up pace, inflicting severe losses upon their ranks in personnel and equipment.
Deir Ezzor
Army unit foiled an attack attempt by ISIS terrorists against a military post in al-Rasafa neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor, killing many of the terrorists, a source in the northeastern province told SANA reporter.
A car bomb driven by a suicide bomber called Abu Hozaifa al-Libi was also destroyed in the operation, according to the source.
Other army units killed several ISIS terrorists, wounded others and destroyed their equipment in the neighborhoods of al-Sina’a and al-Sheikh Yaseen in Deir Ezzor city.
Aleppo
Army units killed and wounded scores of terrorists in Bianoun, Salah Eddin, Alliramoun, Khan al-Assal, the Old City, al-Halk and Hanano in the city and countryside of Aleppo.
Other army units eliminated many terrorists in Khan al-Assal town and destroyed their weapons and ammunition.
Meanwhile, other army units continued pursuing terrorists in the neighborhood of Salah-eddin, al-Layrmoun and Hanano in Aleppo city.
Daraa
Army units continued operations against takfiri terrorist organizations’ positions in al-Sheikh Myskeen and destroyed their dens and gatherings in Daraa countryside.
A military source told SANA that Army units confronted 15 terrorists who attempted to infiltrate to a building near al- Sheikh Myskeen roundabout.
Ten terrorists were killed, others were injured and their weapons destroyed in the operation.
The source added that Army units killed and injured a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles and weapons in Enkhel, Jassem, al-Gharya al-Gharbiya, Attaman and Alma.
Army units continue to target terrorists’ dens and blow up their supply lines in al-Sheikh Myskeen.
The source also said that Army units eliminated terrorists, injured others and destroyed their vehicles in Tyssa and al-Sammakiyatt.
Army units killed terrorists in Busra al-Sham and Jamrin village.
The military source added that Army units killed and injured terrorists in the area surrounding Syriatel building, al-Sad road and in the vicinity of 7 April School in Daraa al-Mahatta.
A number of terrorists, some of them non-Syrians, were killed in the Army operations.
Alaa Majed al-Shamri, leader of the so-called “Ahbab al-Rasoul Brigade” who was killed in Jassem town was identified among the dead.
Other army units killed a number of terrorists who were attempting to plant explosive devices inside a house in Atman town to the north of Daraa city.
In the same context, another army unit eliminate several terrorists who were drilling a tunnel in the area surrounding al-Ghzlan farms.
Meanwhile, an army unit killed and injured scores of terrorists to the east of al-Na’ema center in the eastern countryside of Daraa, in addition to destroying a vehicle and killing all terrorists on board.
The source pointed out that the army units repelled terrorists’ attempt to attack a number of military checkpoints in al-Sheikh Maskeen town, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
Homs
Army units killed many terrorists in Jabal al-Kenn in al-Rastan and destroyed a den in Salam Sharqi village in Homs countryside. Other terrorists were killed or injured to the south of al-Talf village in Hama countryside near al-Houla area in Homs.
Idleb
Army units carried out a series of precise operations against dens of terrorist organizations in Idleb countryside, inflicting heavy losses on them and foiling their attempt to sneak to a military checkpoint.
A military source told SANA that units of the army and armed forces killed terrorists and wounded others who tried to attack a military checkpoint in Mhambel, Idleb countryside, while other units killed terrorists and wounded more others in Wadi Sakhrin in the same area.
The terrorists Mohammad Khaled al-Sulaiman and Mahmoud Abdul-Nasser were identified among those killed.
The source added that several terrorists were killed in Mseibin and Kaminas which is located about 5 km southeast of Idleb city, indicating that terrorists were killed and others injured when they attempted to sneak to al-Arbai’n Mount and also in Marret Masrin, 9 km north of Idleb.
The source pointed out that army units killed a number of terrorists and wounded others in Maaret al-Nouman south of Idleb city, 84 km from Aleppo city.
Other army units killed terrorists and wounded others in Abu al-Duhour and Tal Salmo area.
