Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop to become from 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by a relatively cold and wet air in all layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the weather will be generally cloudy, heavy rain showers accompanied with thunder are expected in various areas across the country, and snow is expected over the mountains.
The wind will be eastern in eastern regions and al-Jazeera, south western in other regions between low and moderate in speed, and the sea waves will be low in height.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reforms rain bulletin the rain amounts in the Syrian provinces during the past 24 hours were as follows: Damascus countryside 1mm, Daraa 3mm, Homs 4mm, Hama 12mm, Tartous 2mm.
The expected temperatures in some major cities will be as follows: Damascus 9/18, Daraa 9/18, Homs 7/16, Tartous 15/21, Aleppo 7/18 Idleb 8/18, Deir Ezzor 8/24.
