Health Ministry: 50 new coronavirus cases recorded, 77 patients recover, 3 pass away  

Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry on Wednesday announced that 50 new coronavirus cases were recorded, adding that 77 patients infected with the virus recovered and 3 others passed away.

The Ministry, in a statement, said that the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has climbed to 15,001 till now, of which 8,903 have recovered and 987 cases have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was registered in Syria on March 22^nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was recorded on the 29^th of the same month.
