Health Ministry: 142 new coronavirus cases recorded, 120 patients recover, 12 pass away

Damascus, SANA – Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 142 new coronaviruses were registered in Syria, while 120 cases recovered and 12 others passed away.

In a statement, the Ministry said that the number of coronavirus infections recorded in Syria has reached up to 18,498 until now, of which 12,377cases have recovered, while 1,239 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was reported in Syria on March 22^nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was recorded on 29^th of the same month.
