Turkish occupation, its mercenaries steal electricity allocated to operate Alouk plant

Hasaka, SANA- The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries of terrorist organizations have continued their attacks on power transmission line feeding Alouk water station, and they stole a large percentage of the power allocated to operating the station and diverted it to the sites of their deployment in the occupied city of Ras al-Ayn.

Local sources told SANA reporter that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries of terrorists have stolen a large percentage of the power allocated to operate Alouk water station and they transferred it to the areas of their deployment in the occupied city of Ras al-Ayn which will reflect negatively on the station with regard to the operation of pumping water to the locals in the neighborhoods in Hasaka City.

The sources noted that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation, over the past hours, have diverted the direction of power heading to the Alouk water station to feed the areas of their deployment in Ras al-Ayn for a period of 6 hours per day, which poses a great danger to the work of the station and consequently to the water supply, which is already low due to their accumulated attacks on the electricity network.

In this context, the suffering of the locals in Hasaka city continues as a result of the delay in pumping water to the neighborhoods of the city for a period of up to 15 days due to the mercenaries’ attacks on the power transmission lines designated for operating the station, which led to a reduction in the number of pumps operating in it, and subsequently will increase the suffering of citizens for long periods.
