Worldwide Coronavirus deaths pass four million and 306 thousand

Capitals, SANA- The novel coronavirus has claimed the lives of more than 4 million and 306 thousand people worldwide since its outbreak in December 2019, according to the latest statistics by the American Worldometers website which tracks the latest developments of the virus.

The website added that the total number of the coronavirus cases worldwide has reached up to 203,399,738, while the deaths have amounted to 4,306,583, and the recoveries have climbed to 182,700,900.

The US still on top of the worst-affected countries by the virus in terms of the number of infections and deaths as it has registered 633,115 fatalities out of 36,540,845 infections, while India comes in the second place with 428,339 deaths out of 31,969,588 infections.

Meanwhile, Brazil comes in the third place with 563,151 deaths out of 20,165,672 infections.
