39 new coronavirus cases, 119 recoveries, 4 deaths reported in Syria

Damascus, SANA- 39 new coronavirus cases, 119 recoveries and 4 deaths were reported in Syria on Thursday, according to a statement by the Health Ministry.

The statement showed that the total number of the coronavirus cases detected in Syria has reached up to 50,243, of which 32,394 have recovered while 2,893 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22^nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first death was reported on the 29^th of the same month.
