Arnous, Salajka discuss cooperation, latest developments

Damascus, SANA-Prime Minister, Hussein Arnous, discussed on Monday with Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and head of the Iranian Environmental Protection Organization, Ali Salajka, means of enhancing cooperation between Syria and Iran and promoting them up to the level of strategic and historic ties.

Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral cooperation to face the environmental changes and phenomena of desertification, dust storms and aridity.

Salajka, for his part, affirmed his country’s continued support for Syria in all domains, and for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country, showing Iran’s willingness to build environmental cooperation to face dust storms.
