Bastrykin: creation of international body for justice with Syria’s participation

Moscow, SANA- Head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, called for the involvement of Syria, Iran and Bolivia on the formation of an international court under the auspices of the United Nations.

Bastrykin said in an interview published by the Russian official newspaper” Rossiyskaya Gazeta ” on Monday, that it is approved to involve other countries that show an independent position on the Ukrainian cause on the basis of international law, particularly Syria, Iran and Bolivia, on the formation of an international body for justice.

Bastrykin considered that taking into account the ” western collective” position, the establishment of such a court under the auspices of the UN” in the current perspective is doubtful”, pointing out that it would have been better to work on solving this problem with Russia’s partners in organizations as the Commonwealth of Independent States(CIS), the Collective Security Treaty Organization(CSTO), the BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization(SCO).
